What is the difference between cough caused by heart failure and ordinary cough?

Heart failure is heart failure, cough caused by heart failure and common cough are different in nature, accompanying symptoms and etiology.

1. Nature accompanied by symptoms

Heart failure patients mainly manifested as dry cough, may cough pink foamy sputum; common cough is generally wet cough, sputum is usually white or yellow thick sputum.

2. Accompanied by symptoms

Cough caused by heart failure may be accompanied by symptoms such as dyspnea, edema of lower limbs; common cough may be accompanied by nasal obstruction, dry throat, throat itching and other symptoms.

3. Etiology

Cough caused by heart failure is usually related to cardiomyopathy, cardiac overload, ventricular preload deficiency and other reasons; common cough is usually related to bacterial, viral and other pathogen infections.
