Does ectopic pregnancy always hurt?

Abdominal pain does not occur immediately after an ectopic pregnancy. Abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding may not occur until six to eight weeks of pregnancy. These symptoms do not last long and rupture occurs at the latest eight weeks. Ectopic pregnancy is dangerous and surgery should be considered immediately after diagnosis.
