How long does jaundice occur in newborns?

If it is pathological jaundice, most children will begin to show yellow skin and sclera within 24 hours after birth. If it is physiological jaundice, symptoms will basically begin three to five days after birth. Among them, physiological jaundice is more common and generally does not require special treatment. The term baby will basically resolve within two weeks.
