What is the cause of this cough?

Cough is generally caused by irritation of the throat mucosa. If the child is an irritating dry cough, it is likely to be caused by allergies or too little drinking water; if the cough is accompanied by sputum, it should be considered to be caused by infection; if the child has a serious cough at night, it is likely to be a bronchial infection.
