Treatment of pathological jaundice

In clinical practice, the main causes of pathological jaundice are infectious and non-infectious. Infectious causes of infectious pathological jaundice are mainly neonatal hepatitis and neonatal sepsis; non-infectious causes are neonatal hemolytic disease, neonatal biliary atresia, breast milk jaundice and faba disease. Because the cause of neonatal jaundice is complex, some causes must be ruled out during pregnancy. When pregnant, pregnant women and the father of the child must check the blood type. Pay attention to whether the family has a history of broad bean disease. Under normal circumstances, there are three main ways to treat neonatal jaundice: 1. Light therapy is to illuminate blue light, mainly double-sided blue light therapy, single-sided blue light therapy, blue light blanket. 2. Drug therapy: Because of the different causes, the drugs selected are different. 3. Blood exchange therapy is mainly plasma exchange, mainly for severe hemolytic jaundice. It is recommended that when the child's jaundice is found to be delayed, the child should be taken to the hospital for relevant examinations.
