Treatment of skin amyloidosis

Skin amyloidosis is an acquired skin disease, most of which are caused by genetic factors. Skin amyloidosis is mostly a protein deposit that shows a similar appearance to amyloidosis. There is no particularly effective treatment for skin amyloidosis at this stage. In clinical practice, the following treatments are mainly used to control the development of the disease: First, topical ointment, such as vitamin A cream or mucopolysaccharide polysulfonate cream, allantoin vitamin E cream, can be used locally to relieve local dryness and itching symptoms. Second, oral medication, such as oral antihistamine treatment, such as levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets, loratadine tablets. Third, physical therapy, such as laser therapy, liquid nitrogen cryotherapy or local injection of triamcinolone acetonide, but repeated treatment is required.
