Herpes simplex virus infection and varicella-zoster virus infection are the most common diseases clinically manifested as herpes simplex virus infection and varicella-zoster virus infection. Because these two are caused by viral infection, there are certain similarities in treatment. Acyclovir, valciclovir or famciclovir are selected for herpes simplex virus infection, but genital herpes caused by herpes simplex virus type 2 is prone to repeated attacks and may require continuous application.
