Treatment of diaper rash

Diaper rash is also known as diaper dermatitis. It is caused by ammonia in faeces decomposing urine on wet diapers and producing ammonia. It should be distinguished from Candida infection of the vulva. It is often manifested as erythema papules on the genitals, buttocks and diapers of infants. Sometimes it can spread to the lower abdomen and thighs. Serious superficial ulcers can form. For this disease, diapers must be changed frequently, and the vulva of infants should be kept dry and powdered after cleaning. Diapers to use absorbent strong, do not use plastic wrap. Local zinc oxygen oil can be applied externally, do not use soapy water or hot water scalding.
