What is child pseudo-cryptorchidism?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Children's pseudocryptorchidism refers to the testicle sometimes can not completely descend to the scrotum, but is not true cryptorchidism.
Children's pseudocryptorchidism may be caused by excessive activity of the cremaster muscle reflex. In some cases, such as cold, stress and other stimuli, the cremaster muscle contraction can make the testicle temporarily lift away from the scrotum, but this does not mean that there is abnormal development or anatomy of the testicle.
This situation usually does not require special treatment intervention. As the child grows, the function of the cremaster muscle may gradually stabilize, and the position of the testicle may return to normal.
Parents need to closely observe the child's situation. Pay attention to the position of the testicle under different environments and conditions. If it is found that the testicle cannot descend to the scrotum for a long time, or other abnormal symptoms such as pain, swelling, etc., seek medical advice for further examination and evaluation.
