How does Helicobacter pylori occur?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Helicobacter pylori infection occurs mainly through oral transmission, faecal-oral transmission, iatrogenic transmission, etc.
1. Oral transmission
Oral transmission is a common mode of transmission of Helicobacter pylori. For example, eating with infected people, using utensils contaminated by their saliva, etc., may lead to the transmission of Helicobacter pylori. Due to close contact between family members, it is also easy to transmit Helicobacter pylori.
2. Fecal-oral transmission
If you contact water or food contaminated by infected people's feces, you may also be infected with Helicobacter pylori. In an environment with poor sanitary conditions, the risk of this transmission route is relatively high.
3. Iatrogenic transmission
In some medical procedures, such as gastroscopy, if the equipment is not strictly disinfected, it may cause the transmission of Helicobacter pylori among patients.
