Test paper can detect ectopic pregnancy

Healing with compassion, caring with purpose.
The Test does not detect ectopic pregnancy. The
Test determines pregnancy by measuring human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) levels in urine or blood. However, it can only determine pregnancy and cannot determine the location of the gestational sac, i.e., it cannot distinguish between intrauterine pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy.
Secondly, the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy requires a combination of multiple tests. In addition to detecting the trend of HCG levels, ultrasound is also needed. Ultrasound can help to check whether there is a gestational sac in the uterus and whether there is an abnormal mass outside the uterus, but sometimes it is difficult to make a clear diagnosis in the early stage of ultrasound. In the process of diagnosing ectopic pregnancy, doctors will also combine the patient's medical history, such as previous pelvic inflammatory disease, tubal surgery, etc.
