What does it mean to see multiple anechoies in the cervix?

Your well-being is my top priority.
Multiple anechoic cysts in the cervix usually refer to the presence of multiple cystic structures in the cervix on ultrasound examination, which generally indicates a cervical Knott cyst.
There are many glands on the cervix. When there is chronic inflammation or damage to the cervix, it may cause blockage of the gland opening. Gland secretions cannot be discharged and accumulate to form a cyst, known as a Knott cyst. In most cases, cervical Knott cysts do not cause special discomfort, and may only be discovered accidentally during examination.
Usually, if the cyst is small and asymptomatic, special treatment is generally not required, and regular observation is required. However, if the cyst is large or accompanied by other abnormal symptoms, such as abnormal leucorrhea, contact bleeding, etc., further evaluation and treatment may be required, such as physical therapy or surgery to remove the cyst.
