Reasons for high risk of fetal trisomy 21

The high risk of fetal trisomy 21 is mainly due to chromosomal abnormalities. Secondly, it cannot be ruled out that it is related to genetics or caused by maternal exposure to high chemicals. It is recommended to perform amniotic fluid puncture for diagnosis and terminate pregnancy if necessary.
