How to eliminate eye chalazion

Empowering lives through health.
Although all chalazion cysts are located on the eye, the size of the cyst varies according to the patient. Common treatments for chalazion in the early stage include: hot compress plus topical eye medication. Smaller cysts can be treated well with hot compress plus eye medication. Hot compress on the eye can play a role in promoting blood circulation and reducing swelling. Anti-inflammatory and anti-infective eye drops or eye ointment treatments (e.g., levofloxacin eye drops, ofloxacin eye ointment, pralofen eye drops, etc.) are common conservative treatments for chalazion. Conservative treatment is simple, but not all patients can eliminate chalazion with this method. For larger chalazion, surgery should be considered if eye drops or hot compresses do not work, or if they progress further.
