What is the pain around the eyes?

Healing hearts, healing lives.
Pain around the eyes is normally caused by the following reasons: first, due to herpes virus infection, because herpes virus has neurotropic, once infection causes inflammation, it will stimulate nerves to cause severe pain, common infection original chickenpox-herpes zoster virus, herpes simplex virus and so on. Second, due to sinusitis, the frontal sinus is distributed above the orbit, the sphenoid sinus and ethmoid sinus are distributed inside, and the maxillary sinus is distributed below it. once there is inflammation in the sinuses, it will cause pain around the eyes. Third, due to neuralgia, the sensation of the upper half of the orbit is managed by the supraorbital branch of the trigeminal nerve, while the sensation of the lower half of the orbit is managed by the infraorbital branch of the trigeminal nerve. once the trigeminal nerve shows pain, it will cause pain symptoms around the eyes, and migraine headaches may also cause these symptoms.
