Can lutein cure myopia?

Lutein can not treat myopia, myopia is the most common refractive error in ophthalmology clinic. If the patient shows myopia, the main corrective treatment methods include wearing glasses, wearing corneal contact lenses and surgical treatment. Lutein is a commonly used health care product in clinical practice. If the patient shows other eye conditions, such as visual fatigue, the fundus shows changes in the macular area, and appropriate oral lutein can improve symptoms for these conditions, but lutein cannot treat myopia clinically.
