Relationship between endometrium and follicle

During the ovulation period, follicles secrete estrogen, which can stimulate the development and thickening of the endometrium. At the same time, after ovulation, they form a corpus luteum, secrete progesterone, and can also stimulate the endometrium. The endometrium continues to develop or maintains the stability of the endometrium. After the ovulation period, the corpus luteum shrinks, estrogen and progesterone will drop sharply, and the endometrium will fall off and menstruation will occur.
