Depression, lethargy, is it almost over?

Empathy in every care, excellence in every treatment.
Sleepiness is not necessarily a symptom of depression.
Sleepiness may be just one of the symptoms. Sleepiness in depression patients does not necessarily mean that the disease will improve, it may only be a phased phenomenon in the course of the disease. In the complex course of depression, the patient's symptoms are diverse and may change, and sleepiness may coexist with other physical symptoms. Whether the disease is improving requires comprehensive judgment. Sleepiness alone cannot be used to determine that depression is improving. The patient's emotional state, interest recovery, self-evaluation, social function and other aspects should be considered comprehensively. If the patient is sleepy, but his mood is still low, his interest in things is still low, and his self-evaluation is still very low, then the condition may not improve. Sleepiness may also be affected by other factors. For example, recent drug use, lifestyle changes, and other physical conditions may lead to drowsiness, not necessarily directly related to improvement in depression.
Improvement is usually accompanied by overall improvement in depression. True improvement in depression tends to show significant improvement in mood, increased optimism, and willingness to participate in social activities and daily activities, rather than just drowsiness as an isolated phenomenon
