There's a red dot in the eye. What's going on?

There is a red spot on the eye, which is considered to be subconjunctival hemorrhage. The normal bulbar conjunctiva is covered with capillary network. These capillaries are relatively fragile. When impacted by external force, they will cause rupture and hemorrhage, and form a small blood spot under the conjunctiva. Therefore, when subconjunctival hemorrhage is shown, do not rub your eyes with your hands to prevent secondary damage. If the patient takes aspirin or lipid-lowering drugs orally for a long time, the drug can be stopped for 3-5 days if the general condition allows. Levofloxacin eye drops can be used locally to prevent infection. After about 7-10 days of the above treatment, the red spots in the patient's eyes will gradually be absorbed.
