Does myopia exist simultaneously?

Myopia and hyperopia do not exist at the same time. Myopia and hyperopia are common diseases of ophthalmology and belong to two different types of refractive errors. When external light is refracted by the refractive system such as the cornea lens of the eye, it converges to form a focus and is not able to focus on the retinal plane. It is called refractive error. When the focus is in front of the retina, it is called myopia, and when the focus is behind the retina, it is called hyperopia, because it is impossible to focus in front of and behind the retina at the same time, so myopia and hyperopia cannot exist at the same time. Whether the patient has myopia or hyperopia, it can be diagnosed by optometry. If it affects vision, it can be corrected by wearing glasses.
