. The Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS)

consists of 20 items, and symptoms are graded into four grades (Occasional, sometimes, often, persistent), used to measure the severity of depression symptoms and their changes during treatment. According to the score results, the severity of depression can be preliminarily judged, such as less than 53 points for no depression, 53-62 points for mild depression, 63-72 points for moderate depression, 73 points or more for severe depression.
