Is optometry the same as vision measurement

Optometry and vision measurement are different. Optometry refers to the use of a comprehensive optometry instrument to detect the diopter of the eyeball, whether there is hyperopia, myopia, astigmatism, etc., so determine whether to wear glasses. The number of glasses worn, the axis of astigmatism, all need to be tested by a comprehensive optometry instrument. Vision measurement refers to the use of an eye chart to simply understand vision. Its advantage is that it is relatively rapid, but there is no way to measure the real diopter of the eye, so vision and refraction are not the same.
