What is Lacrimal Sarcoidosis?

Sarcoid tumor of lacrimal gland is a common disease of lacrimal gland tumor in ophthalmology. The cause of this disease is not very clear at this stage. It is generally considered that it may be related to local infection or immune dysfunction. The symptoms are generally painless masses in lacrimal gland area, and it may grow gradually and become larger and larger. After showing this condition, it can be confirmed by orbital ct examination or orbital magnetic resonance examination. For the treatment of this disease, in the early stage, it can be treated by local or systemic application of glucocorticoid to promote mass regression, such as oral hormone or local injection of triande. If hormone treatment fails, it can also be treated by radiation therapy or surgical resection.
