What is angina caused by aortic stenosis

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
Angina caused by aortic valve stenosis is mainly caused by increased myocardial oxygen demand and insufficient myocardial oxygen supply.
1. Increased myocardial oxygen demand When aortic
valve stenosis occurs, the ventricular systolic ejection time is prolonged, resulting in increased ventricular wall tension and increased myocardial oxygen consumption.
2. Insufficient myocardial oxygen supply Aortic
valve stenosis can lead to left ventricular outflow tract obstruction and decreased coronary perfusion, thus affecting myocardial oxygen supply and leading to angina pectoris.
Note that patients with aortic valve stenosis should seek medical attention if angina symptoms occur. Detailed examination and evaluation should be carried out. Treatment methods include medical treatment, interventional therapy or surgical treatment to relieve symptoms, improve heart function and prevent complications.
