Pancreatic tumor is a general name, only indicating that the tumor grows in the pancreas, and does not specify what kind of tumor. Generally, there are several types of tumors that can occur in the pancreas: first, pancreatic cancer, which has a high degree of malignancy and a high mortality rate. It is known as the "king of cancer." Second, pancreatic cystadenoma, which is divided into serous cystadenoma, mucinous cystadenoma and other types, is mostly benign, and some may become malignant. Third, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, including insulinoma, gastrinoma, glucagon tumor and so on can secrete different hormones, causing specific symptoms.
