Differential diagnosis of breast masses

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Breast lump differentiation methods include observation of the shape of the lump, observation of the patient's age, pathological examination, etc.
1, observation of the shape of the lump
Breast lump can be mainly divided into benign masses and malignant masses, if the examination found that the lump is more regular, good activity, clear boundaries, without obvious discomfort symptoms, it is more likely to be benign, otherwise it is more likely to be malignant.
2, observation of the patient's age
If the patient is a young woman, it is more likely to be considered benign; if it is a middle-aged woman, it is more likely to be malignant.
3, Pathological examination The
above methods can only be used for preliminary judgment, if you want to finally clarify the nature of breast lump, you need to take pathological examination, if the examination found that there are no cancer cells in the lump, it can be diagnosed as benign, otherwise it is malignant.
