What causes itchy throat and cough?

Itchy throat accompanied by cough is mainly caused by upper respiratory tract infection, due to the body's low immunity caused by bacterial or viral invasion. It is usually accompanied by runny nose, sneezing and dizziness. If the symptoms are severe, they can be treated with oral anti-inflammatory drugs.
