Is coronary heart disease congenital?

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a

disease that occurs after birth and is related to genetic abnormalities and embryonic damage. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD) is a cardiac dysfunction caused by atherosclerosis, which is mainly considered to be related to acquired factors such as smoking, high blood pressure and diabetes. Therefore, CHD cannot be considered a congenital disease.
