Vulva furuncle general a few days to heal

Furuncle is an acute suppurative inflammation of deep hair follicles and surrounding tissues, often caused by Staphylococcus aureus infection. It occurs on the head, face, neck, vulva, buttocks, etc. The initial skin lesions are follicular inflammatory papules, and the inflammation expands to the surrounding areas to form nodules, accompanied by redness and heat pain. After a few days, the center becomes soft, and pus plugs appear at the top. After pus plugs fall off, pus blood and necrotic tissue are discharged. The inflammation gradually subsides and heals. Generally, it can be cured in about 7 to 10 days. Topical antibiotic ointments, including mupirocin, fusidic acid, etc., can be used. Oral antibiotics are needed if the condition is severe.
