Bladder neck obstruction is the most common form of bladder obstruction.

Empathy in every care, excellence in every treatment.
The diagnosis of bladder neck obstruction is urodynamic examination, cystoscopy, abdominal ultrasound examination, etc.
1. Urodynamic examination
can evaluate the urinary function of bladder when patients undergo urodynamic examination. If the urinary flow rate is ≤15mL/s and the detrusor pressure value is ≥20cmH20, it can usually assist in the diagnosis of bladder neck obstruction.
2. Cystoscopy
can observe whether there are bladder muscle trabeculae, the opening of bladder neck is not round, and the posterior lip of bladder neck is raised when patients undergo cystoscopy, which is helpful in the diagnosis of bladder neck obstruction.
3. Abdominal ultrasound examination
can show that the residual urine volume in bladder increases, and at the same time judge whether there is urethral stricture, which helps to diagnose bladder neck obstruction.
