How to cough when you lie down at night

Cough at night when lying down indicates infection of respiratory system. When lying down, lung tissue is horizontal, inflammatory exudate in bronchus or alveoli is not easy to be discharged, so it can cause nocturnal cough. Patients can be treated with antibiotics and antiviral drugs.
