Lung cancer is a disease of the lung.

If there are some driver genes in patients with advanced lung cancer, most of them can benefit from molecular targeted therapy. At this stage, taking EGFR mutation as an example, patients are generally treated with the first generation EGFR-TKI drugs. Such patients often show drug resistance after one year. After drug resistance, more than 50% of patients will show new gene mutations. The use of second or third generation targeted therapy can further prolong survival time.
