What is the difference between pemphigus and psoriasis?

Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
Pemphigus and psoriasis are different in symptoms, pathogenesis and treatment methods.
1.
The main symptoms of pemphigus are large blisters on the skin, clear or bloodshot blisters, blisters easily rupture after drying to form ulcers. The symptoms of psoriasis are red or pink scale-like plaques on the skin, often located at the elbow, knee and other joints, and skin damage is easy to occur after scratching.
2. The pathogenesis is different:
most cases of pemphigus are caused by their own immune cells attacking their own tissues and producing anti-desmoglein antibodies. Psoriasis is caused by genetic factors, environmental factors and immune factors.
3.
Treatment of pemphigus is mainly to inhibit abnormal reactions of the immune system, using glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants and other drugs. Psoriasis can not only be treated with drugs, but also by physical therapy.
