Thyroid papillary cancer is not considered cancer

Papillary thyroid cancer is a common type of thyroid cancer, so papillary thyroid cancer is considered cancer. However, it is highly differentiated, low malignant degree, and relatively good prognosis. Papillary thyroid cancer is more common in women under 40 years of age, and the tumor grows slowly. Although papillary thyroid cancer has a good prognosis, it is easy to show early cervical lymph node metastasis and rarely shows distant metastasis. Therefore, if thyroid nodules are found, it is recommended that the patient undergo biopsy. once the pathology is confirmed as papillary thyroid carcinoma, a systemic evaluation is required to determine the treatment plan. Papillary thyroid carcinoma is generally treated by surgery, and the survival rate of 10 years and 20 years after surgery is generally above 98%.
