Benign and malignant ovarian tumors

Ovarian tumors are divided into benign tumors and malignant tumors. The probability of benign tumors is higher than that of malignant tumors. The probability of benign tumors is more than 70%, while the probability of malignant tumors is below 30%. Because of the stimulation of hormones in the ovary and the influence of inflammation, benign masses are often caused, such as ovarian cysts, ovarian teratomas or ovarian chocolate cysts. All ovarian cancer and immature ovarian teratoma are malignant tumors. once diagnosed, surgery is needed as soon as possible. Other treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy are required according to the condition after surgery.
