Scrub typhus, also known as jungle typhus, is a disease that can be transmitted by chigger mites. It can cause high fever, toxemia, and rash. It can also cause conjunctival congestion, swollen lymph nodes, and facial flushing. In severe cases, it can cause delirium, coma, and meningeal irritation.
