What does TNM mean?

TNM staging of tumor is one of the commonly used staging methods in clinical practice at present. T represents the primary tumor, including the location, size, number, extent of invasion, depth of invasion, etc., while N represents metastatic lymph nodes, including the number, size, extent of invasion, etc., M represents metastatic lesions, including the location and number of metastatic lesions. Clinically, according to the TNM stage of the tumor, different treatment methods can be given according to different stages, including surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, immunotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine therapy.
