What is cystic kidney cancer?

Your health, my unwavering commitment.
Renal cell carcinoma is also called renal cell carcinoma. It originates from renal tubular epithelial cells. It can occur in any part of renal parenchyma, but it is more common in the upper and lower levels, and a few invade the whole kidney. The incidence of left and right kidneys is equal, and bilateral lesions account for 1%~2%. The clinical manifestations of cystic renal cell carcinoma are similar to renal cell carcinoma. Gross hematuria, abdominal mass and pain can also be seen. Because cystic renal cell carcinoma normally has a complete cyst wall, there is less chance of gross hematuria. Cystic renal cell carcinoma can be divided into four types according to histopathological types: (1) inherent single cystic growth;(2) inherent multiple cystic growth;(3) cystic necrosis;(4) originating from simple cyst inner wall epithelial cells. Among them, multiple cystic growth is more common. Clear cell carcinoma is more common.
