What is sterile chronic cystitis

Aseptic chronic cystitis generally refers to a chronic sterile inflammatory reaction occurring in the bladder of a patient.

Aseptic chronic cystitis is mostly caused by a decrease in resistance within the bladder, atrophy or hyperplasia of the bladder mucosa, etc. When the patient is ill, frequent urination, urgency, urinary pain and other bladder irritation may occur, but urine culture tests usually do not find bacteria. If the patient does not promptly treat aseptic cystitis, bladder volume may increase, and in severe cases, bladder diverticulum may even form.
