Hepatitis B virus can be transmitted between couples, but some measures can be taken to reduce the chance of transmission.

Hepatitis B virus is caused by hepatitis B virus infection and can be transmitted through sexual contact, blood and mother-to-child transmission. Therefore, if one of the spouses has the disease, the virus may be transmitted during sexual life. However, if the patient actively takes treatment, wears condoms during daily sexual life, and the healthy partner has been vaccinated against hepatitis B virus, the risk of transmission can be effectively reduced.
