Rectal cancer refers to cancer from the dentate line to the junction of the rectum and sigmoid colon. It is one of the most common malignant tumors in the digestive tract. According to histological classification, rectal cancer can be divided into adenocarcinoma, adenosquamous carcinoma and malignant melanoma. Tubular adenocarcinoma can be divided into well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. Tumor differentiation refers to the degree that tumor cells are close to normal cells. Tumor cells are well differentiated and close to normal cell structure. The lower the malignant degree, the lower the differentiation degree of tumor cells, the farther away from normal cell structure, the higher the malignant degree.
