Can apatinib shrink tumors?

Your health, my dedication.
Apatinib is a multi-target small molecule targeted drug that can shrink tumors if it works. Apatinib is generally indicated for advanced metastatic gastric cancer or other gastrointestinal malignancies. Other lung malignancies, esophageal malignancies, or breast malignancies are also treated with apatinib, some of which need to be combined with other targeted drugs. Apatinib may be effective in some patients, but if it is used off-label, it may not be proved by good efficacy data at this stage. For some advanced metastatic gastric cancer, mainly gastric adenocarcinoma, because apatinib also needs to be used for at least two weeks to see whether there is any effect. Review imaging and other examinations. If there is no effect, it is not necessary to continue using it. Other regimens may be considered.
