Early symptoms of beriberi

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
The symptoms of beriberi include itching, redness, blisters, etc.
1. Foot itching
is a common symptom in the early stages of beriberi. Fungi breed and multiply in the feet, which irritates the skin and causes itching. This itching may make people unable to resist scratching, but scratching often worsens the condition and may even lead to skin damage and infection.
2. Skin redness
Under the action of fungi, the skin of the feet will appear red. This is usually a manifestation of inflammation, and the red area may gradually expand, affecting a larger area of skin.
3. In the early stages of blisters, there may
be some small blisters on the feet, which contain clear liquid. These blisters may appear individually or may gather together. As the disease progresses, the blisters may rupture and flow out, forming erosive surfaces.
