How does lobular hyperplasia come about?

Lobular hyperplasia refers to lobular hyperplasia of mammary glands, mainly due to imbalance of estrogen and progesterone ratio in the body, resulting in excessive hyperplasia and incomplete involution of mammary glands.

Specifically, the increase of estrogen levels will lead to hyperplasia of mammary glands, while the decrease of progesterone levels may cause incomplete involution of mammary glands. Together, these two may lead to lobular hyperplasia of mammary glands. In addition, lobular hyperplasia of mammary glands is also related to endocrine dysfunction, mood swings, life pressure, bad living habits and other factors.
