Prostate examination includes examination of white blood cells and red cells. White blood cells should be less than 10 per high power microscope, red blood cells should be less than 5 per high power microscope. Normal prostatic fluid also has lecithin. If there is prostatitis, white blood cells and pus cells will appear, and lecithin will be significantly reduced.
