Gout can cause uremia

Gout is not caused by uremia, need to be judged according to the patient's condition.

If gout patients after treatment condition is relatively stable, and uric acid levels within the normal range, generally will not cause uremia. If gout patients are more serious, uric acid levels continue to be higher than normal, the probability of uremia is relatively large. Because uric acid continues to be higher than normal, a large number of urate crystals will block renal tubules, renal pelvis, and even ureters. If metabolic waste and toxins continue to accumulate in the kidneys, it may cause uremia.

It is recommended that gout patients maintain low fat, low purine, light diet. Drink warm boiled water every day to promote excess uric acid metabolism in the body.
