Can breast lipoma heal itself?

Lipoma of the breast is usually not self-healing, but can be cured by treatment.

Breast lipoma is mostly due to abnormal hyperplasia or aggregation of adipose tissue, usually located in the subcutaneous tissue of the breast. Because breast lipoma is composed of abnormal hyperplasia of adipose tissue, it usually does not disappear or self-healing. On the contrary, if not treated in time, breast lipoma may gradually grow and enlarge, resulting in swelling and pain symptoms. However, breast lipoma is a benign tumor that can generally be eradicated after surgery.
