Is lung cancer a common disease?

Lung cancer may be caused by lung cancer, or by other causes.

If the patient develops lung cancer due to genetic factors, long-term smoking, etc., abnormal proliferation of lung tissue forms small tumors. Early imaging examination may show bilateral lung nodules. However, bilateral lung nodules may also be caused by pneumonia, lung cysts, benign lung tumors, etc., and are not closely related to lung cancer.

If the patient has large bilateral lung nodules and clinical symptoms, further pathological biopsy may be performed to confirm the disease type according to the results.
