What causes anal itching in children

Children with anal itching may be caused by poor cleanliness around the anus, excessive heat and improper diet. It may also be caused by ascaris in the body, such as pinworm disease. It should be admitted to hospital for gastrointestinal examination. If ascaris is diagnosed, it should be treated with anthelmintic drugs according to the doctor's advice.
