Abortion belly pain

Abortion is usually accompanied by abdominal pain.

Abortions are classified as spontaneous or induced. In spontaneous abortion, abdominal pain occurs during paroxysmal contractions of the uterus during the expulsion of the embryo or fetus. This abdominal pain is usually severe and intermittent, and may be accompanied by vaginal bleeding. Abortions include surgical and medical abortions. During abortion, the uterus is stimulated and damaged during the operation, and pain occurs.
